The Blue Hills is a great place to ride if you like hills, or rocks, or hills covered with rocks. Plus, there's a swimming beach for a post-ride cooldown!

Foxboro is open year-round, and it's southern location makes it a great place to ride in the winter months.
Great Brook State Park, Carlisle MA
A great place for beginners, Carlisle has lots of gentle fire roads, and an ice cream stand with petting zoo for post-ride refreshments. For the rest of us, there's miles of great new singletrack with names like Indian Hill, Deer Run, Heartbreak Ridge, and Tophet Loop.
Lynn Woods Reservation, Lynn MA
Even with the loss of Bow Ridge to development, Lynn Woods is still a great workout for technical riders.
Middlesex Fells, Winchester MA
A well-marked Mountain Bike Loop makes for a fun ride close to Boston. Please respect the biking regulations in the Fells - all singletrack is off-limits to bikes unless marked as part of the Bike Loop. The hiking trails are worth exploring on foot, especially the Skyline and Rock Circuit trails.
Mystic Basin Bike Path, Medford MA
A paved bike path along the banks of the Mystic River. Draw 7 Park in Somerville is a good place to take a break, with a shoreline view of two MBTA rail lines, the Amelia Earhart Dam, and the Mystic Station power plant.
